If clicks aren’t appearing in your analytics, the cause is usually the link itself or where you’re looking — not the tracking script.
Clicks are recorded server-side at the short-link redirect, the moment someone clicks your link. The tracking script on your pages is not involved in counting clicks — it only links a click to a later conversion. If clicks record but conversions don’t, see Conversions aren’t being attributed.

Quick checks

1

Confirm you're sharing a contentgrove short link

The click is only recorded if visitors go through your contentgrove short link (like grve.to/free-course or your custom domain), not the raw destination URL. If you pasted the plain link into your video, no click is recorded.
2

Check the link is active

A paused or deleted link sends visitors to a “link not found” page and records nothing. Confirm the link is still active on the All links page.
3

Check your subscription

Tracking runs only while your subscription is active. Confirm in Settings → Billing.
4

Rule out test-click filtering

Clicks made immediately after creating a link may be filtered as bot traffic, and known bots are always excluded. If you’re testing your own link, wait a moment before clicking, and check that your analytics date range covers when you clicked.

Still not working?

Test in an incognito window to rule out cached state, then contact support@contentgrove.io with the short link you’re testing.
